What we make
Our four tools cover rectangular yarn estimates, stitch and row counts, square-blanket layouts and common conversions. Each tool explains its method and limitations. The accompanying field notes connect those numbers to decisions you can make before starting a project.
How the content is produced
The site and its explanations are created with AI assistance under the publisher’s direction. Worked examples are checked against the calculation code. Published reference information is linked where relevant. We do not claim that these guides have been written or independently reviewed by a certified crochet instructor.
Examples are illustrative calculations, not claims that we personally made or tested a particular blanket. We do not publish generated garment patterns as tested instructions. When a decision depends on the physical behaviour of yarn or fabric, we ask you to measure a sample and follow the yarn label or pattern designer’s instructions.
Accuracy and corrections
We aim to distinguish exact arithmetic from material estimates and design choices. Conversions can be exact before rounding; yarn requirements are estimates. A default allowance is an example, and a screen colour is a visual planning aid.
